What a beautifully written essay. It was very moving! It reminded me of a time I was walking the beach at dusk and an elderly man was standing at the edge of the water. As the sun was setting..he played taps on his trumpet. Although there was no connection between us, it was so moving anyway! I loved the way you told this story! Thank you!
