This is a loving essay on your experience of being a mom of an autistic son. I love your philosophy of everyone living in our own bubbles, and hoping your son finds his own bubble to thrive in! Your take on not masking themselves to fit in is brilliant! You are a wonderful advocate for autistic kids…ever think about writing a book for parents of neurotypical kids? Education might result in understanding! Life became a whole lot easier for my friends’ granddaughter when people understood her behavior better. Your son is lucky to have YOU for his mama bear! 😘
