One of my family members posted a picture of herself (lipstick on, hair combed) moments after giving birth, holding her son, skin on skin, covered in grey gook. She was smiling from ear to ear. Hashtag “I’m so in love”. Another family member, moments after giving birth, said to the nurse who tried to hand over her gook-covered newborn. “Ugh! Please clean her up first, wrap her in a blanket and put this bow in her hair”. Haha! PS. These kids are now 10 and 11. They are loved by their moms who are each wonderful nurturers and the kids are great! No worries, Lora, you and Cy will be just fine💙
