PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OPINION
Hey Y’all, How Ya Doin?
We got ourselves a President
I don’t know about you, but I’m not doin’ too good!
I live in the South. I am surrounded by Trumpers. I am not a Trumper. I am a devastated American who no longer recognizes my country.
There is no policy so important to me that I could look the other way and vote for a man who promises to be a dictator on day one. A man whose only defense is to insult people. A guy who wants to take away women’s rights. A man who spews hate and vitriol wherever he goes. He is lewd, cruel, and a convicted criminal.
Yet, the majority of Americans knew this about him and didn’t care.
He is an evil man with evil plans and the majority of voters in our country just handed him the honor, privilege, and power to rule our country any way he sees fit. The more despicable his rhetoric became the more his supporters signed on to elect this dangerous man for the second time.
People grieve in different ways, and today I was grieving.
After taking a day off to self-soothe, I feel a little better. I canceled all plans yesterday. I turned off my phone and TV. I sat on my porch and drank coffee and tea, then had a big piece of cake for breakfast and another one…
